Welcome to Reddit-Insight! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Reddit-Insight's services, including our website, platform, and all related features (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

1. Account Registration and Access

1.1 Account Creation

To use Reddit-Insight, you must create an account by providing:

• A valid email address
• A secure password
• Your name (optional)

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

1.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• All information you provide is accurate and complete
• You will maintain accurate information in your account

1.3 Account Security

You agree to:

• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Use a strong, unique password
• Not share your account credentials with others
• Log out of your account at the end of each session

2. Subscription Plans and Billing

2.1 Free Trial

Reddit-Insight offers a 14-day free trial for new users. During the trial period:

• You have full access to features based on your selected tier (Starter, Professional, or Enterprise)
• No credit card required to start your trial
• You will NOT be charged automatically when your trial ends
• Your account will become inactive at the end of the trial period
• To continue using Reddit-Insight after your trial, you must manually subscribe to a paid plan
• You will receive email notifications at 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day before your trial ends

After Trial: When your trial expires, you will need to select and subscribe to a plan to regain access to the platform. Your data will be retained for 90 days to allow you to reactivate your account.

2.2 Subscription Plans

Reddit-Insight offers the following subscription tiers:

• Starter Plan: $29/month - Monitor up to 5 subreddits
• Professional Plan: $79/month - Monitor up to 25 subreddits
• Enterprise Plan: $199/month - Unlimited subreddit monitoring

All prices are in USD and billed monthly unless otherwise stated.

2.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you agree to provide:

• Valid payment information
• Authorization to charge your payment method
• Updated payment information if your payment method expires

We do not store your complete credit card information on our servers.

2.4 Automatic Renewal

Once you subscribe to a paid plan, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorize us to charge your payment method for each renewal period.

Note: Free trials do NOT automatically convert to paid subscriptions. You must manually subscribe after your trial ends.

2.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. If we increase the price of your subscription:

• We will notify you at least 30 days in advance
• The new price will apply to your next billing cycle
• You may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect

2.6 Plan Changes

You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal:

• Upgrades: Take effect immediately; you will be charged a prorated amount
• Downgrades: Take effect at the start of your next billing cycle

3. Cancellation and Refunds

3.1 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through:

• The Stripe Customer Portal (link in your account settings)
• Contacting our support team

Upon cancellation:

• You will retain access until the end of your current billing period
• You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
• Your data will be retained for 90 days, after which it may be deleted

3.2 Refund Policy

To request a refund:

• Contact us within 30 days of your first payment
• Provide your account email and reason for refund
• Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days

Refunds are not available for:

• Subscription renewals after the first month
• Partial months of service
• Accounts terminated for violations of these Terms

4. Use of the Service

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use Reddit-Insight for legitimate business intelligence purposes, including:

• Monitoring Reddit discussions for business opportunities
• Analyzing user pain points and market needs
• Conducting market research
• Identifying product development opportunities

4.2 Prohibited Use

You agree NOT to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on others' intellectual property rights
• Use the Service for spam, harassment, or malicious purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service beyond intended use
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our permission
• Use the Service to compete with Reddit-Insight
• Violate Reddit's Terms of Service or API usage policies

4.3 Reddit Data Usage

Reddit-Insight analyzes publicly available Reddit data. You acknowledge that:

• We comply with Reddit's Terms of Service and API guidelines
• Reddit content is owned by the respective authors
• You must respect Reddit users' rights when using insights from our Service
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of Reddit data

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Intellectual Property

Reddit-Insight, including our website, software, algorithms, and content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We retain all rights to:

• The Reddit-Insight platform and technology
• Our brand name, logo, and trademarks
• Our proprietary algorithms and analysis methods
• Documentation, guides, and educational content

5.2 Your Content

You retain all rights to content you create using Reddit-Insight. We do not claim ownership of:

• Your business ideas or strategies
• Reports you generate
• Analysis you conduct using our Service

5.3 License to Use

By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and process your data to provide the Service
• Use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our Service
• Display your company name as a customer (unless you opt out)

6. Data and Privacy

7. Service Availability and Modifications

• Uninterrupted access

We may perform scheduled maintenance, during which the Service may be temporarily unavailable. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.

7.2 Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, update, or discontinue features
• Change the Service's functionality
• Add or remove supported subreddits
• Update our analysis algorithms

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Reddit-Insight provides business intelligence tools, but we do not guarantee:

• That opportunities identified will be profitable
• The accuracy of market assessments
• That using our Service will result in business success
• Specific business outcomes or results

8.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
• OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM
• WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR LOSSES CAUSED BY FACTORS OUTSIDE OUR REASONABLE CONTROL

8.4 Third-Party Services

We use third-party services (Stripe, Mailgun, Reddit API) and are not responsible for:

• Their availability or performance
• Changes to their terms or pricing
• Their data handling practices (see their respective terms)

9. Termination

9.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

• Canceling your subscription
• Requesting account deletion

9.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Your payment fails repeatedly
• You abuse the Service or other users

We will provide notice when possible, but reserve the right to terminate immediately for serious violations.

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your access to the Service will cease
• You remain responsible for any outstanding payments
• We may delete your data after 90 days
• Provisions regarding intellectual property, liability, and disputes survive termination

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reddit-Insight, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any laws or third-party rights
• Content you submit or actions you take using the Service

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11.2 Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will work in good faith to reach a resolution.

11.3 Arbitration

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved through binding arbitration in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify.

12. General Provisions

12.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Reddit-Insight.

12.2 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Email notification
• Posting a notice on our website
• Updating the "Last Updated" date

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12.3 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it in the future.

12.5 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or internet/telecommunications failures.
